The PAX A920 smart payment terminal is a portable, compact device that is powered by the Android operating system. The device supports many connectivity options are accepts both traditional and alternative payment methods. The A920 is certified through the Cybersource Card Present Gateway with FDI / Fiserv in North America and SIX in the European market.

Configuring Proxy Access
If your store is shielding its Wi-Fi server from the general public, it is using a proxy server and requires a different configuration.
- On the IDLE screen, tapSettings.
- When prompted, touch the password field to display a keyboard. Enter 9876 as the Settings password, tap the green check mark at the bottom of the keyboard, and tapOK.

- In the Settings list that appears, slide theWi-Fitoggle switch to the right to enable Wi-Fi. The switch is green when enabled.

- Tap theWi-Fifield. The Wi-Fi screen appears, listing the detected Wi-Fi networks.
- In the upper-right corner of the Wi-Fi screen, tap the three vertical dots and chooseAdd network. The Add network screen appears.

- When the Add network screen, in theNetworkname field, enter the SSID for the Wi-Fi network. This field is case-sensitive.

- If the selected type of security prompts for a password, enter the password to access the network. This field is case-sensitive.
- TapAdvanced Optionsand scroll upward to view additional fields.

Processing Payments
A payment card must be physically present for all sales transactions. The terminal can process sales and refunds (if enabled), view your transaction history, or access application settings. Users can review only past transactions that they processed, but managers can review past transactions of all users.
- On the terminal’s IDLE screen, tap theCybersource app.
- On the Login screen, enter your username and password. (Touch the field to display a keyboard.)
- After logging in, when the options panel appears tapNew Sale.

- On the New Sale screen, enter an amount for the transaction. You can also enter a description for the transaction. TapCheckout.

- After you tapCheckout, the Cybersource app requests that you insert, swipe, or tap the card. If the card requires it, an Enter PIN screen opens for the customer. You can cancel the transaction by tappingABORT.

- After the card information is collected, the terminal prompts you to remove the card, and the transaction is processed.
- After the payment is approved, you can print receipts for the customer and the merchant.
