Generating a Bearer Token for Authentication Using a REST API Request

This section describes how to generate a bearer token for authentication using an API request. The request that you send to generate the bearer token must include a merchant ID (MID) and secret key. You can obtain these values from the Business Center or by using a REST API request. For more information, see Obtaining a Merchant ID and Secret Key.

Make sure to generate a unique bearer token before sending each payment transaction request.
