  • Acceptance Devices protocol:
     The Acceptance Devices app features the new, streamlined Acceptance Devices protocol. This protocol replaces the ATICA (ISO20022) protocol and is the default integration method for the PAX Acceptance Devices App.
  • WebSockets support:
     The Acceptance Devices app now supports WebSockets, enabling a two-way connection between the point-of-sale (POS) system and the terminal.
  • Standalone mode:
     A new standalone operating mode was added to the Acceptance Devices app. This mode enables merchants to enter transaction amounts directly on the terminal.
  • Transaction history:
     Merchant transaction history is now accessible from the Settings menu in the Acceptance Devices app. This feature includes quick filtering options and linked operations.
