Stand-Alone Credit

This section describes how to process a stand-alone credit. A stand-alone credit is used to process a credit with no reference to a previous transaction. The customer is required to present their card for this type of credit. When processing a stand-alone credit, the refund amount is not limited because there is no reference to an original transaction amount.
