Submitting Transactions Using the Virtual Terminal
You can process a debit in the
Business Center
by using the Virtual Terminal. Configuring the Virtual Terminal to Process eCheck Transactions
Follow these steps to enable the eCheck service on the Virtual Terminal.
- Log in to theBusiness Center:
- Navigate toVirtual Terminal>Terminal Settings. The Terminal Settings Page appears.
- Click theGlobal Payment Settingstab.
- In the Card Status drop-down menu, selectNot Present.
- ChooseChecks > Check Payment Options > Enable Check Payments, and check theDisplaybox.
- Optional: Check theDisplaybox to display the Electronic Check Reference Number.
- Optional: In the SEC Value drop-down menu, select an SEC code. If you do not select one, a default will be selected.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If the e-commerce indicator (ECI) for the Virtual Terminal isMOTO, the value of the SEC code defaults toTEL. If the ECI for the Virtual Terminal is not set toMOTO, the value of the SEC code defaults toWEB. - ClickSubmit, then clickConfirm.
Processing eCheck Transactions Using the Virtual Terminal
Follow these steps to process an eCheck debit transaction using the Virtual
Terminal:
- Log in to theBusiness Center:
- On the left navigation panel, clickVirtual Terminalicon.
- ClickOne-Time Payment. The One-Time Payment page appears.
- Under Customer Presence, clickNot Present.
- In Transaction Type, under Order Details, selectEcheck Debit, enter the amount, and enter any Level II values that you collect.
- Under Merchant Defined Fields, enter merchant-defined values that you collect, if appropriate.
- Under Level III Fields, enter Level III values that you collect, if appropriate.
- Under Billing Information, enter information for billing the customer. Check the box if the shipping information is the same, or enter shipping information.
- Under Payment Information, enter the eCheck account information.
- If you want to create a token for this customer:
- In the Payment Information section of the page, select theUse payment details to create more transactionsoption.
- In the Subscription Information section of the page, choose the appropriate option in the Subscription Type drop-down menu.
- Click the link to read the terms and conditions, and check the box to confirm that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions.
- When you are finished, clickSubmit.
