Performing a Factory Reset on the PAX Terminal

This section describes how to perform a factory reset on a PAX terminal. A factory reset restores the terminal to the state that it was in when it was shipped to you. This procedure applies to test, debug, and live devices.
IMPORTANT
If you are considering resetting your device to resolve an issue with the terminal, attempt other options before taking this action.
IMPORTANT
Performing a factory reset does not affect the device key that was preloaded on the terminal before it was shipped to you.
