Configuring Advanced Proxy Options for Wi-Fi Proxy Access on the PAX Terminal
Follow these steps to configure advanced proxy options on the PAX terminal:

- On the terminal Home screen, tap theSettingsicon. You are prompted to enter the system password.
- If you are a first-time user, enter the default Settings password:pax9876@@. Tap theCheckmark. The Settings screen appears.To change the default password, in the Device section, tapPassword. Follow the prompts to change your password.
- If you changed your password before, enter your system password. Tap theCheckmark. The Settings screen appears.
- In the Wireless & networks section, tap theWi-Fiicon. The Wi-Fi screen appears.
- On the Wi-Fi screen, tap theMore Optionsicon (three vertical dots).
- ChooseAdd network. The Add network screen appears. Check theAdvanced Optionsbox. Scroll up to see the additional fields in which you will enter information.
- In the Proxy section, tap the drop-down list arrow.
- ChooseManual. Scroll up to see the additional fields in which you will enter information:
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- In the Proxy hostname field, enter the proxy host name.
- In the Proxy port field, enter the port number for the proxy server.
- In the Bypass proxy for field, if your Wi-Fi network uses a bypass proxy, enter that information.
- To save your settings and return to the Wi-Fi screen, tapConnect. The Wi-Fi screen appears.
- On the Wi-Fi screen, tap the name of the Wi-Fi network that you just added.
- Enter the Wi-Fi network password. TapConnect.
- To exit the Wi-Fi screen, tap the back arrow until you reach the Home screen.
