Enhanced TMS Integration Features for the REST API

Description

Merchants who integrate the Token Management Service (TMS) using the REST API will have two new features that provide a streamlined implementation:

The ability to create all elements of a TMS token (Customer, Payment Instrument, and Instrument Identifier) in a single API request.

The ability to create a TMS token using a transient token that has been generated by Flex Microform on a TMS REST API endpoint.

Benefit

These features will streamline token implementations for clients using the REST API by reducing the amount of API calls needed to manage customer data. It will also provide simpler integration options when managing transient token data generated by Flex Microform.

Merchant Impact

Merchants who want to use the new features are required to integrate to a new TMS API.
