Reversing a Payment or Credit

A PIN debit card reversal is a follow-on transaction that uses the request ID or merchant transaction identifier (MTI) associated with a previous PIN debit purchase or PIN debit credit to link the reversal to the purchase or credit.
IMPORTANT
To request a PIN debit reversal, you must submit the request within one hour of the request that you are reversing.
  1. To request the service, send the request to https://api.cybersource.com/pts/v2/payments/{id}/reversals.
  2. In your request, include a request ID
    or MTI
     to identify the PIN debit purchase or PIN debit credit that you want to reverse.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    Send the request ID of the PIN debit purchase or PIN debit credit that you want to reverse. Your request must include a request ID or a merchant transaction identifier.
  3. Include the required fields in the request.
  4. Include any optional fields in the request as needed.
