This feature enables customers in a card-present environment to add an amount to the total purchase price of a transaction paid by debit card. The customer receives that amount in cash along with the purchase. For example, a customer purchasing products totaling 18.99 might ask for 20.00 cash back. They would pay a total of 38.99 (18.99 + 20.00) with their debit card and receive 20.00 in cash along with their products.
