Processing a Mail Order or Telephone Order Account Verification

This section describes how to process a mail order or telephone order (MOTO) account verification. The MOTO account verification request submits a zero-amount authorization request to validate the payment card. The payment card is not physically tapped, inserted, or swiped in a terminal for a MOTO transaction.

Follow these steps to process a MOTO account verification:

Create a

TransactionParameters

object and provide the required information for the payment.

Retrieve the

transactionIntent

from the

mposUi

object and use the

startActivity

method to initiate the transaction flow.

After the transaction is completed and the Summary screen is dismissed,

onActivityResult

is triggered. This action returns information about the last transaction.

You can get the full transaction object by retrieving the

latestTransaction

from the mposUi object.
