As of October 18th, 2024, Visa will support the processing of Mastercard transactions through the Authorization Gateway Service for Mastercard Gaming and Gambling Payments Program and Mastercard Funding Transactions Program Data.
Acquirers
Acquirers must be aware that Mastercard Gaming and Gambling Payments Program and Mastercard Funding Transactions Program Data will be available in 0100 Authorization request message using the existing Field 104, Usage 2—Transaction-Specific Data in TLV format, Dataset ID 57—Business Application Identifier, Tag 82—Purpose of Payment.
Merchants
Merchants must include the purpose of payment details in authorization and reversal requests.
