Feature
As of October 18, 2024, regulatory reporting requirements have been introduced that require new sender information for international AFTs and OCTs.
Issuers
Issuers that receive the Customer Related Data field in a two-byte length format must support the receipt of the new account owner data for all AFTs and OCTs with money transfer BAIs.
Acquirers
Acquirers may choose to send the new account owner data for cross-border AFTs and OCTs with money transfer BAIs.
Merchants
Merchants must include account owner details in the authorization request for AFTs or OCTs transactions. The merchant must include these fields in an authorization request:

    • recipientInformation.countryOfBirth
    • recipientInformation.occupation
    • recipientInformation.email
