As of October 18th, 2024, Visa will support introduction of the Mastercard Merchant Risk Predict Service in the Middle East and Africa region. This is a newly launched service comprised of seven independent AI-powered scores intended to augment existing merchant risk management practices.

Acquirers must be aware of the changes to support the processing of Mastercard transactions and all required fields and values.

Acquirers in the Middle East and Africa region must be aware that new indicators and scores from these merchant predictive services will be available in 0110 Authorization response messages using the existing Field 104, Usage2—Transaction-Specific Data in TLV format, Dataset ID 65—Mastercard Client-Defined Data, Tag18—Mastercard Data Element DE 48, Sub element 57—Security Services Additional Data for Acquirers, Subfield 1 (Security Services Indicator), Subfield 2 (Security Services Data).

Merchants should be aware merchant risk prediction details are included in the authorization response.
