As of October 18th, 2024, Visa will support two new ECI types -

vbv

and

vbv_attempted

for Visa installment transactions.

Acquirers in the Asian Pacific region must send the plan registration system identifier when present in transactions regardless of participation in Visa installments.

Acquires must support two new ECI types -

vbv

and

vbv_attempted

for the field 104 DSID 5D Tag 82 for Visa installment transactions.

Issuers must be aware of the plan registration system identifier in transactions.
