Setting Up the PAX Terminal

This section describes how to set up the terminal. The product drawings show the PAX device features.

Connecting and Powering the PAX Terminal

To connect and power the terminal, you must connect it to a power source using the AC power cord and adapter, and then plug it into the multi-drop bus (MDB) port on the back of the device.
The PAX IM30 terminal does not have a battery and must be connected to a power source at all times.

Mounting the PAX Terminal

To mount the terminal, use a Phillips screwdriver and the included M4 screws and nuts, screw the mounting bracket to the back of the terminal.
The product drawing shows how to attach the terminal to the mounting bracket using the M4 screws and nuts.
