Relaxed Requirements for Address Data and Expiration Date

With relaxed requirements for address data and expiration dates, not all standard payment request fields are required. It is your responsibility to determine whether your account is enabled to use the relaxed address verifications system (
relaxed AVS
) feature and which fields are required for processing transactions.
If specific address fields in the payment data are not relevant for your specific customer scenario, you can designate those address fields as exempt from AVS processing, provided that the relaxed AVS feature is enabled for your account.
To check whether an address field is supported for relaxed AVS, see the field description in the .
IMPORTANT
Before you relax the requirement for any fields, confirm that the fields are not required by your
processor
. Relaxing the requirement for a field that your processor requires results in transaction declines.
To enable relaxed requirements for address data and expiration date, contact customer support to configure your account for this option.
