The Account Lookup API accepts the card account number or TMS token and returns information on the card issuer including the country code, billing currency, account type, Fast Funds participation status, and the recipient issuer's ability to receive payout transactions. This API is also known as BIN Lookup. If you are not using Secure Acceptance, this API is important for managing the user experience when adding cards to receive payout transactions.

Account Lookup does not verify the validity of the card number entered.
