Using the Rule Editor

The Rule Editor enables you to create and edit custom business rules for your profiles and profile selectors:

You can create up to 600 custom rules. You can add up to 100 custom rules to each profile.

You can create up to 50 active profile and 50 passive profile selector rules.

Core or predefined rules are those that you want to add automatically to specific profiles. You can designate any rule as a core rule. Except for regular expressions, all rules are not case sensitive.

If you are a member of a group of merchants, you can view the rules that apply to all members of your group, but only your group administrator can change the rules.

When you are done configuring your rule, be sure to click Save or Apply to save your changes.

IMPORTANT

Ensure that any rules being employed are not in violation of payment network rules or those rules specified by your acquirer.
