Features Introduced This Week

This release expands the Transaction Request Report (TRR) to include five new fields associated with the Token Management System (TMS). When you request the TRR in the Business Center, you can now choose:

Customer
Payment Instrument
Instrument Identifier
Shipping Address
Primary Account Number (PAN)

Users of the TRR and TMS.

Enables the tracking of the five TMS fields in transaction requests.

You can see the new fields in the common XSD at https://api.cybersource.com/reporting/v2/xsds/Common.

The fields are in the PaymentMethod > Token element and the field names are:

InstrumentIdentifierId
CustomerId
PaymentInstrumentId
ShippingAddressId
PaymentAccountReference

This release adds support for Network Token payments to the HSBC processing connection. The solution fully supports Visa Tokens (VTS), Mastercard Tokens (MDES), and may be combined with the Token Management Service (TMS) for token lifecycle management and vault storage. This update also enables merchants to offer both in-app device based tokens (such as ApplePay and GooglePay) and Card On File Network Tokens, using the HSBC processing connection.

Support for Merchant Initiated Transactions on the HSBC processing connection has been updated to support latest scheme compliance guidance for recurring subscription and standing order payment flows. We will update the information we send to acquirers. There is no change requirement for merchants as long as they are following the developer guide in accordance with their use case.
