Redirection Mode Payer Authentication
When using Redirection Mode, during a transaction, the cardholder is redirected to the
issuer's authentication page. Once redirected, a one-time password is sent to the
cardholder's previously set email or phone number. When the cardholder re-enters the
one-time password successfully, the cardholder is authenticated and returned to the
merchant site to complete the transaction.
Network processing can introduce lag time into the purchase transaction.
