Network Token Processing — Hybrid Model

This workflow is for merchants that can use the payment gateway directly to process network tokens or process network tokens through a third party.
  1. Customer makes a purchase on the merchant's website using a PAN.
  2. Merchant sends the PAN to the gateway and receives a
    TMS
     token and a network token from the
    Token Management Service
    .
  3. TMS
     asynchronously provisions a network token and maps it to the
    TMS
     token.
  4. Merchant can process network token directly with the gateway or fetch the network token and cryptogram from the gateway to process with a third-party processor.
