**Payments 2.0 API** \| EPS-36163

Description
:
Merchants who use the Payments 2.0 REST API and process transactions through Prisma experience rejections when the merchantDescriptor.name field contains an asterisk (\*) or a hyphen (-). This does not occur in the Business Center.

Merchants who use the Payments 2.0 API and process transactions through Prisma.

Workaround
:
Until the validation logic is changed or relaxed, merchants should avoid using special characters such as \* or - in the merchantDescriptor.name field.
