Accessing Device Logs on a Test or Debug PAX Terminal {#pax-terminal-access-device-logs-intro}

Device logs are useful for troubleshooting terminal-related issues on a test or debug terminal.

> IMPORTANT
> You cannot access device logs directly on a live terminal. To get access to live device logs, contact [terminals@cybersource.com](mailto:terminals@cybersource.com "").  
> You can access these device logs on a PAX test terminal using a Windows computer:

* **BroadPOS logs:** These logs are named *broadpos_logyyyymmdd.log* and are stored in */sdcard/Android/data/com.pax.us.pay.std.broadpos.p2pe/files*.
* **POSLink logs:** These logs are named *POSLINKyyyymmdd.log* and are located in the root folder.
