Default Passwords for the PAX Terminal {#pax-terminal-passwords-default}

The Settings and Developer Options menus on the PAX terminal are password protected. Use the default passwords in this section to access these menus.  
Before you start configuring the terminal, change the default Settings password to a unique, secure one. For more information, see [Create a Password for the PAX Terminal Settings Menu](/docs/cybs/en-us/pax-a77/activation/all/pax-a77/pax-a77/pax-terminal-configure-connect-intro/pax-terminal-configure-connection-pw.md "").  
You are prompted for the Developer Options password on test devices only.
