Connect and Power the PAX Terminal {#pax-a35-setup-terminal}

Before connecting and powering the PAX terminal, ensure that the multifunctional connector cable is securely attached to the terminal. The fixed-lane PAX terminal does not have a battery and must be connected to a power source using the USB Type-C cable and the power source unit.  
Follow these steps to connect and power the PAX terminal.

1. Insert the small plug on the USB Type-C cable into the Type-C port (power input) on the multifunctional connector cable.
2. Insert the USB plug on the USB Type-C cable into the power supply unit.
3. Connect the power supply unit to a power outlet. The terminal powers on automatically.
