Refund a Transaction {#adobe-commerce-r-refund}

Refund an order by creating a credit memo in the `Adobe Commerce` admin.
Follow these steps to refund an order:

1. From the list of orders, choose the order you want.
2. Click Invoices.
3. Select the appropriate invoice.
4. Click Credit Memo.
5. Check the item(s) to be refunded.
6. Verify and if necessary update the Refund Totals.
7. Click Refund.
