Purpose

PA Validation will:

• For 3DS1 – Decode the received PaRes and verify it’s signature. Return the authentication result
• For 3DS2 (EMV 3DS) – Interpret the result received from Results Request and return it

Once response for the validation message is received merchant can proceed to authorization or stop the payment, depending on the result.
